Furniture Hunting

A lonely wooden chair with some lovely carved detail in the back and a "painted one to many times" white shelf on feet.  The shelf looks like it was red before it was painted white and who knows what before that.  But I love all the different shapes of shelves!

They may not look like much now (though the shelf is turning out to be very handy at the moment in my art room)  but just wait until I'm done with them!  (Okay, don't get too excited, this will be my first furniture makeover but I've got high hopes for the ideas I have!)  Stay tune and hopefully in a couple weeks I'll have an update on at least one of them for you.
